The big news these days is the Waves of Change (WOC) Conference, just around the corner now. This is the second year of the Conference, and if last year is any indication, the event will be extraordinary, largely due to the extraordinary people who attend. This year's program, "Poise and Paradox" offers a startling and in-depth look at the "third step" of deliberate intending as presented in our audio Course. The material scheduled for the master classes alone is, in my view, life-changing, and I'm excited about getting with this outstanding group of students and having a couple of days together locally. WOC isn't the only news. After careful consideration and a good bit of experience, we're dropping the use of the quietly controversial End User License Agreement or "EULA" as it's called. While we've never used digital rights management (DRM), activation schemes, or password protection to try to secure or enforce intellectual property rights, we have included a EULA with the Course, the Advanced Field Training PDF curriculum, and most recently the iStudy Coaching Guide. Our EULA was generous by industry standardsÑallowing students, for example, to share the materials with their life partner and even providing support for both. Even so, it essentially held the stick of the risk of losing support over the student's head, which never felt right to me. Furthermore, and obviously, apart from costly anti-piracy protocols and practices, the EULA is not really enforceable. Desktop technology today makes duping a CD child's play, and copying an MP3 file is even easier. Those students who understand and respect copyright and intellectual property don't need to be told not to copy or distribute the Course, and there's little point in trying to strong-arm those who don't understand or respect these things into complying. So, while we're certainly not endorsing the practice of making illegal copies of our Course or other proprietary materials and sharing or distributing them, we feel the better path is simply to state that we provide support only to those who have obtained Field Center study materials legitimately, which means from us, and we now have this statement on the relevant Online Store pages where the EULA used to live. Finally, we've had several price changesÑpart of some new thinking that includes dropping the EULA, and also no longer offering our programs in CD format. The Audio Series titlesÑthis includes the Introduction, FIeld-Particle Aspects, and the Audio Series BundleÑhave been reduced to make them more available to those who want to get started with Field training but may be on a budget. The idea is to reduce the cost for beginners. Those who discover the great value and usefulness of Field training through these preliminary study materials or other Field Center resources often go on to take the Course and after, the Advanced Field Training curriculum, and even enroll in an iStudyÑthe prices of which have been increased to offset revenues lost through reducing the prices on the Audio Series programs and discontinuing the CD format. The price changes to iStudy offerings reflect increasing demands on my schedule that have placed a premium on contact hours with students. If you have any questions or comments about these changes, please fee free to get in touch through the form on our Support page. Best,
