As hard as it is to belive, another year is behind us. As we begin 2012. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to our students and advisors for their continuing deidcation to the work we do here at the Field Center to "light candles of alignment" around the world.

Last year brought momentous changes. We lost Jimi and Lila physically and shared in the grief over these lossesÑand we also shared in the joy as several of our students got married. It's been a year of challenges, with a stepping up of iStudy, Facilitating, and Coaching demandsÑall a labor of love that we undertake daily with a sense of privilege and gratitude. Most of all, we want you to know how deeply we appreciate you for your dedication to living consciously and creatively, your willingness to discover new and liberating truths, your honesty, and your willingness to continue to take part in the conversations that matter most.

Waves of Change: This year, after receiving numerous requests, we've added the Waves of Change Annual Conference to the 2012 schedule. The dates, at our usual Maitland venue, are 21-22 April, and the theme of the Conference is "The Creative Power of Truthfulness." I'm looking forward to meeting and working with students face to face at Waves of Change this year, and to doing some beautiful and rich work together. Come join us for this unique event and be "dis-illusioned!"

My best intentions are with each of you in the new year and always. May your alignment be a light in the world that eases suffering and inspires others to take up their creative authority, so that the joy and generosity of the holidays just past can be with us all year 'round. For those who are feeling less than joyful, I hope youll take heart in knowing that the "blues" are only one color in the brilliant spectrum of self, and that these difficult feelings come up only so that we finally can resolve them and move on to express the joy in being alive that is our nature and our birthright.

Your comments and questions are always welcome. Please send them along through our get in touch form.

Best,
Philip

The Philosophy Center: Getting It Together
We have a new parent site, the Philosophy Center, which along with our sister site, the Fate Project, offers a comprehensive reange of philosophical study opportunities, resources, and support options at the leading edge of applied philosophy. Note that all three sites are now integrated. You may notice, for example, that purchases made through the cart on any of these sites display the full logo group for all three sites in the header. You can even go from one site to another and add items to the same checkout process! On completion of your transaction, you'll be returned to the Philosophy Center parent site. Navigation from there to either the Field Center or the Fate Project is easy, right from the home page. The new organization streamlines a number of administrative functions, brings our diverse projects together "under one roof," and should afford greater convenience for our visitors. Note that the content of the individual sites is not affected by this restructuring.
