To get the most out of an iHelp Solution, we ask you to keep the following in mind:

1. iHelp is an educational rather than therapeutic method, and makes no therapeutic claims.

2. Each iHelp Solution is unique and intended for your use alone. Someone else, even someone dealing with what appears to be an identical problem or situation likely would receive a significantly different iHelp evaluation.

3. We can offer you an evaluation of your situation from the unique perspective of the Field training model, and make suggestions on how you can proceed in order to move from contradiction and suffering to alignment and resolution. All of this depends on your willingness to take responsibility for your role in whatever situation you're facingÑeven if you've been playing that role unwittinglyÑand to put the suggestions into consistent practice. It isn't our place to tell you what to doÑonly to point out what you can do.

4. Use of iHelp support implies your agreement to keep the iHelp email address provided strictly confidential, and to use it only for the current iHelp Solution or future assessments.

Here are some do's and don'ts to follow when composing your email describing your situation:

DO be honest. Your iHelp Solution will be useful only to the extent that you tell us candidly what the problem is.

DO keep it simple. iHelp works best when it's used to address a single, specific, clearly stated problem.

DO describe the problem as directly as you can. Use ordinary language, and see if you can limit your email to a few succinct paragraphs. Keep it short and to the point.

DON'T worry about writing skill or style. Describe your situation the way you would if you were talking to a friend. You are.

DON'T veer off into self-analysis, psychological opinions or theories, or matters that aren't directly related to the main issue.

DON'T tell us about your past. In the Field training view, the problemÑand its solutionÑare always rooted in the living present.
